"Basically, this is a top tier hotel. No complaints at all. Totally worth the money for any occasion. We were able to book a hotel room during the Japanese Golden Week holiday and it worked out no problem. The one little draw back is that you have to be aware of the tram that connects mainland Kobe with the island the Portopia sits on. If you are in Kobe to party and miss the last train, you are in for quite the walk or a cab ride that will cost a few thousand yen. Nothing major, but slightly annoying, so I knock it down one star. Incidentally, road runners pack your shoes because running around the island is great! Flat, but you can really run for quite a bit. Good for stretching the legs and keeping in shape. Shoppers, you are around the corner from IKEA! Nuff said. "

"this is our 2nd time visit to kobe. the first time was april this year. it was just a short visit on our way to arima onsen. we love kobe as it is a nice place with nice people. booked okura deluxe room (seaview) deliberately to enjoy its panoramic view of kobe port. indeed it was a unforgettable experience stay with okura kobe. check in and check out were both fast and efficient. staff are kind and helpful and good command of English. the breakfast wasn't as good as expected as we came across some comments that the breakfast is sort of award winning but we feel just okay and acceptable. the room is spacious with everything that you need. the price we paid deluxe room with breakfast was hkd 1,2xx++ not very cheap though but overall it is a great experience to enjoy the view of kobe port. "

"We had an AMAZING 2-night stay at Kobe Minato Onsen Ren: - Free shuttle bus from the hotel to Kobe Sannomiya Station (approx. 9 minutes), comes every 20-30 minutes - Clean, spacious, and beautiful hot spring area. They have about 3-4 different types of Onsen baths, which was very nice. Available both indoors and outdoor. - The room was very spacious and cozy. We had the room for 4 adults, which meant 2 beds + 2 futons, with a balcony for a sea view. - Our favorite part was the hotel breakfast and dinner buffets. They were very delicious, not to mention high-quality food (beef, crab legs, sashimi, etc). Won't even give this up for Kobe beef lol - Extremely friendly, polite, and helpful staff :) Overall, we had a wonderful time staying at this hotel. Will return! 10/10"

"the ana crowne plaza hotel kobe is connected by a covered walkway to the kobe shinkensen (bullet train) station. it is also connected to a subway station a few floors below the surface and to shops and restaurants. the hotel is beautiful inside and out and located at a higher elevation looking down on kobe and just next to the mountains. i had beautiful views of the city, harbor, verdent islands and the mountains from my standard rate room. the hotel has a nice large pool and small but nice and well equiped fitness center. there is a small outdoor track with a rubberized surface on a ledge outside the fitness center with spectacular views. juse outside the hotel one can take a tram up into the mountians. "

"As I booked hotels quite late, most Kobe hotels were full though I originally wanted to book a hotel near Sanomiya. But it turned out to be a good experience since the location is excellent, just minutes away from JR Kobe station by passing through the underground mail. The nearby is very quiet with walking distance to Harborland and Anpanman Museum. However I’ll still recommend to stay at Sanomiya if having many luggage since Sanomiya is the traffic hub."

"We had a decent stay at this hotel. The rooms were large and we had a great view over the city and the bridge, in the distance. The rooms were a bit tired but pleasant. We were excited about the gym but it turned out not to be free to people staying in the hotel. Breakfast was okay. The biggest downside is that the hotel is a very long way outside of Kobe. A plus is that the train station is right beside the hotel, which is also beside a large department store which had great food. "

"it's one of the best hotel I've ever stayed. i stayed there twice and both gave me fabulous experience. the rooms are very spacious. the free spa in the hotel is amazing that you can see the sky and stars while enjoyinf spa. the staff is not proficient in enflish but they always tried their best to offer help. overall the hotel is excellent. i had a very great and relaxing time there. I'm sure that I'll stay there agin and again. "
