Tarumi hotels & places to stay

I used this hotel for a live event. With the holiday period, I felt it was a bit pricey, but compared to others, it was cheaper, so I chose this hotel despite being a bit far from the venue. There was a main building and a building with a spa, and I stayed in the building with the spa. First, upon entering the room, it was spacious with two large beds. At the back of the room, there was a glass-enclosed space with a bath and a washbasin opposite it, and the blackout curtains could be opened and closed with just a button. The space was wide enough that it felt wasteful for just one person, allowing me to relax comfortably. The cleanliness was very impressive, and it was very comfortable. There were lockers at the entrance of the public bath area, but instead of just one side, there were three sides available, allowing for consideration for those changing, making it easier to change clothes. (Usually, when I change, my locker and the space to dry my hair face each other, and my body is often reflected in the mirror, which is not ideal.) The bath area had an indoor bath, an outdoor bath, and a sauna, but the outdoor bath was so pleasant that it helped relieve my travel fatigue. Additionally, my favorite L'OCCITANE Verbena shampoo and conditioner, as well as body soap, were provided, which personally scored high points for me. (The indoor bath had L'OCCITANE No. 5 products.) It was very soothing. I hastily added a meal for an additional 3,000 yen, and while there were many delicious dishes, the mini croquettes and pumpkin soup were particularly good. The dessert, Setouchi lemon soft serve, was extremely delicious. I spent a long time in the morning bath and hurried to the venue after 9 o'clock, but even though breakfast was until 10 o'clock, it felt like they continued to provide food and dishes as long as there were guests, even after 10. (At a place I stayed before, they announced, “We will soon clear the dishes, so please take anything you need quickly,” which made me rush, so I was prepared for that again this time, but...) The staff's consideration was very impressive. Everything was so comfortable, and if I have the opportunity to visit again, I would definitely like to stay here. However, if I had to mention one issue, it would be that while it's fine by car, walking to the station is quite far, and I got a bit lost. The location is up a hill, so I had to meander up the slope going there and then come down when returning, which was really tough for my bad knees. Other than that, it was the best.

This was my second stay, and this time I asked for a barbecue since I was with my husband! During this season, there were many other customers using the barbecue, making it very lively, and even for us who are not familiar with barbecuing, we had a great time! I brought some fire starters just in case, but the staff had already prepared charcoal that was lit and ready, which was a great help! The room was, of course, beautiful, and it felt like a vacation home or a second house to me! I will be using it again in the future, but I recommend that those who want to spend a relaxing time alone avoid coming around the high season in the summer.
