actually the place is good value for the money. clean, comfortable, decent sized bed. the only issue for me is the lack of privacy curtain on beds, but it's a big issue. i find difficult to relax when I'm constantly staring at a room full of strangers. plus each bed has a light which some guests have on all night without a curtain to block the glare.
Accommodation costs in Taipei rise significantly on weekends, but this place is reasonably priced. The dormitory units do not have curtains. Since the frames are metal, if you're concerned, you might want to use a towel secured with magnets or something similar. You will need to prepare your own towels as well. Be sure to bring essential items for staying in a dormitory, such as slippers, earplugs, and sleep masks. I think it's within the acceptable range for those who are used to dormitories. For those trying a dormitory for the first time or who are not accustomed to it, I would recommend considering other options.
Location near good restaurants, bubble tea/dessert/convenience stores, also not far from TP main station. It’s also very convenient to take a 1841 bus directly from airport. However, for the bucket room guests, do not forget to bring your own towel. They have only temporary one for sale. Also some areas aren’t clean. Comparing with price, this accommodation is still recommended for low budget travelers. Save this place!
I had a great stay at Agoda’s listed property! The price was incredibly affordable—definitely a great value for what you get. The room was very comfortable, especially the blanket, which was super cozy and made it easy to get a good night’s sleep. What I really appreciated was the peaceful environment. Everyone was respectful and quiet, which made the whole place feel calm and relaxing. The bathroom was always clean, which is a big plus for me. Overall, I highly recommend booking through Agoda. Great price, cozy rooms, clean facilities, and a respectful atmosphere.

Travel date: Dec 2025 3 stars for the Location: a bit far frm the central area. Place is like 15 min walk from the nearest mrt station. Exit 5. But i tell you, if you're bringing a heavy luggage dont take the mrt going here. Exiting can be a struggle because there's a flight of stairs. Not good for seniors either. Its like 50 steps(estimated) going up and down. No elevator/escalator out/in. Taking an uber from the hostel to TMS would cost you a minimum of 179NTD during day time 8am. A lot of food places you can eat though also theres 7/11 nearby. 3 stars Facilities: CR and Room was always clean and looked like new. AC was working. The lockers were big and spacious. Although the top lockers were too high too reach for you to hang something. I suggest you can place a stool or a small chair to stand on for us to reach the lockers. I mean i can somehow reach to open and put on my things. But i cant hang them because its too high for me to reach and use the hanger rood. The bunk bed was super sturdy but too high for a 5'3 me. It was so hard to go down the bunk, you need to jump. Lol. The bed so firm, blankets and pillows were clean. Outlets and lights near my bed was working but there was NO PRIVACY CURTAIN. good thing it was a female 4 bed dorm room. Imagine if it was mixed. Lol The elevator was also not working when i was there. My room was on the 3rd floor. So i had to take the stairs with my heavy luggage. 5stars for the cleanliness: The building seems to need like renovationg or repaint. Found some building materials along the stairways.but i didnt mind because the main lobby, the CR, and my room were fully maintained and very clean. Kudos to the staff.
