"Not sure if this hotel is new, but the room is superb! Its spacious and the partial seaview is ingenious! At first we walked in, but the room rates were quite expensive, but managed to book the rooms via Agoda, so we saved around RM140 for two rooms. At night, you could see the darkness of the sea and the other half you could see the bustling life of the city. The breakfast spread is not as many as our previous hotel, but you'll still be spoiled with choices and the view from the cafe is fantastic. TESCO is just around the corner, in case you need anything or Halal Food( you will still need to drive). The beach is accessible from the lounge. Since we arrived at night, the only food stalls nearby (within walking distance) we could see were a Chinese Foodcourt in front of the Hotel. The only downside is that the room is not carpeted, which may be uncomfortable to elder people whose feet could be sensitive to cold floors (slippers are provided though). 5 stars to to this hotel! "

"Someone mentioned that the CP lots were limited and that was correct. However, the valet was up to mark and even on a rainy day, the staff were very efficient. Rooms are clean and modern. We had a room facing the sea and the view was nice as well. Swimming pool was normal and Gym was updated and facing the beach. On the other hand, the toilet facilities need some improvement. The concierge and reception were up to mark as a 4-star although the cafe food and level service really need to improve. Overall, I would still visit Sheraton again. Location wise is subjective as Tesco and Gurney is considerably near if you drive. If not, there is a shuttle service which I cant comment as I didnt use it. "

"We went to Penang for a short holiday and stayed at the hotel from 24th - 27th Dec. We booked a seaview family room and what we got was an excellent two bedroom apartment with a fantastic view. The room was modern and clean with complete amenities. Hotel staff was also polite, honest & friendly. The pool was facing the sea which was only a few steps away. The hotel could improve on the food choice for breakfast. Should have more choices of breads and local fares as we ate pretty much the same thing during our stay there. Parking space is also very limited but the helpful hotel staff directed us to the nearby foodcourt to park our cars. Overall we enjoyed our stay at the hotel very much and we would recommend this hotel to our friends & family. We would surely come again if we come back to Penang for another holiday. Yes, you are a 3-star hotel but you deserve 3 BIG STARS! "

"Stayed in a 3 bedroom. all rooms had ensuite bathrooms. Big livin area with kitchen, big island and dining table. best of all is the 180 degree views from all the rooms and living hall. Only thing missing are chairs in the awesome balcony which I supposed its not there for safety reasons (was on 23rd floor) Good location, one of the closest beach hotel to Georgetown. A hawker center is just next door as well. Would defintely stay there again if the prices remains the same."
